High School Placement
OUR EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS
Our graduates are uniquely positioned to graduate from Saint Paul’s with the confidence and skills to continue their education with stride. Whether they select a local school, a private independent school, or a boarding school out of state, our families have our full range of support and tools to assist them in choosing and applying to schools that best fit their child.
THE PROCESS
Eighth grade parents begin their final year at Saint Paul’s with an informational meeting to review the process, timeline, and resources in preparation of their high school search and application.
COUNSELING
In the fall, our key administrators meet with all eighth grade families to discuss goals for their child and develop a list of high schools that would potentially be the best fit their child.
TESTING & INTERVIEWS
We offer SSAT test prep courses with a standardized testing professional. Our staff also holds mock interviews for students to gain additional comfort and confidence going into admissions interviews. Recommendation Letters. Based on our small class size, teachers have a clear insight and understanding of each student. They apply this individual knowledge of each child to write strong and thoughtful recommendation letters for students to use in the admissions process.
SCHOOL VISITS
Our admissions team and senior administrators maintain close working relationships with local independent and private high schools and are able to act as a student advocate and support their application to high school. In addition, each fall we invite a select group of schools to our campus to speak with our parents and students.

When our family planned relocated to Tampa Bay in 2011, it was vital to us to identify the best school for our children. We selected Saint Paul's and our son joined 2nd Grade that fall. The superior academic programs along with core family and spiritual values are second to none.
The campus has seen amazing expansion as the school continues to provide the highest educational standards, set more than fifty years ago. Our son recently graduated, and with his achievements gained entry into his first choice of high school. Our daughters will be in middle school and fourth grade this year. We are honored to be part of the Saint Paul’s family, now ten years strong and we look forward to the next five.
